Assynt Log #4
- hiking scotland
We wake up to another beautiful view and pink sheep. One of the sheeps is a psycho says Ron. I find that a bit harsh, maybe she’s just a loner. Rocket Ron is back in the morning and brings us some grapes. Lovely. Such a sweet host.
He’s staying for another half hour while we’re itching to go to Sandwood Bay, allegedly Britain’s most beautiful beach and only to be reached by boat or on foot. We reach the parking lot somewhere between Oldshoremore and Sheigra quite late in the morning, and it is a beautiful, sunny day. It is still sunny on the four-mile walk, but just when we get to the bay a dark wall of clouds descends on us.
But there are still pretty pictures.
